Imagine the grid has gone down, chaos and rioting have quckly swept across the globe. All communications infratructure and power have been destroyed. Cell phones no longer work, and everyone has saturated HAM radios making them useless. What would you do? How would you stay in touch with others?
If you had been paying attention before this catastrophe hit, you would have secured alternative energy sources such as solar, wind, or hydro electric power. Secondly you would have secured means of communications that would function with no infrastructure. You would have deployed a small scale WiFi mesh network to keep in touch with your friends and family. These small mesh networks can now be extended and lnked to other nework groups of like minded people. The gangs located in the inner cities have been preparing for a moment just like this to happen. At which point they will form militias through tribal alliances and break out first into the suburbs and then the countrysides in search of food and plunder.
Are You Prepared ?
Our WiFi Walkie Talkies operate with no need for conventional infrastructure in place. You could use your cellphone's Hotspot to create a small offline network. You could also use commercial off the shelf routers that can be repurposed to create a secure encrypted Mesh Network to host your own private communications platform. Utilizing existing applications for voice and text communications you can create multiple group channels on each server.
DISPLAY: Each Walkie Talkie features a small display that indicates which channel you are currently in, who is currently talking, and the volume level.
CONTROLS: The rotary control knob can change channels and also adjust the volume.
SOUND: The Walkie Talkie has a built in speaker, 2 high quality based microphones, and a 3.5mm AUX out port for headphones.
WiFi: Onboard WiFi is available to allow connections to the Walkie Talkie to edit settings and confgurations. There is a second High Powered ALFA wireless USB module with an external antenna that can be swapped out for different sizes, depending on the required broadcast range. This module also supports Monitor Mode, which enables this device to capture data packets in the air for reconesance purposes.
POWER: The operating voltage is 5V USB, therefore practically any phone charger or backup USB battery will work
CASE: We utilize an tough aluminum case to improve the toughness of the device.
FIRMWARE: The operating system is a secured version of the reliable LINUX kernel.
